- Have read and understood our Privacy Policy
- Are at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our service.
Note: Accepting these terms does NOT automatically opt you into marketing emails or AI training programs. Those require separate, explicit consent (see our Privacy Policy).
8. User Content & Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to the images, designs, text, and other content you upload or create using our Services.
8.2 License You Grant to Us
By uploading or creating content on Printora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store, reproduce, and process your content to fulfill your orders
- Print your designs on products
- Transmit content to our printing partners and shipping carriers
- Display your content in your account and order history
This license is only for the purpose of providing our Services and ends when you delete the content or close your account (except for orders already placed).
8.3 Public Content & Community Gallery
Important: Designs created using Printora's AI tools or uploaded by users can be published to the community gallery. Published designs are visible to all users and may appear in search, browse, feeds, and challenges.
The "Make all designs public by default" setting in your account opts you into automatic publishing of new designs. You can change this setting at any time.
When your designs are published, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your published content, including:
- Display your designs publicly on our website/app (e.g., in galleries, featured designs, inspiration feeds, and challenges)
- Use designs as examples in marketing materials and on social media (with attribution to your display name)
- Allow other users to view, share, and purchase prints of your published designs
Creator Credits: You earn a 5% credit when other users print your published designs. Credits are applied to your Printora account and can be used toward future orders.
Visibility Controls:
- You retain ownership of all your designs at all times
- You can unpublish (make private) any design at any time from your dashboard
- Private designs are only visible to you and are not shared publicly
- Even private designs are still used to fulfill your orders (printed on products you purchase)
- Unpublishing a design removes it from public galleries but does not affect orders already placed by other users
Content Moderation: Printora reserves the right to remove any published content that violates our community guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy (Section 10), or applicable laws, without prior notice.
8.4 Your Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:

19. Content & Creator Program
Design Visibility
Designs you publish on Printora are visible to all users by default. You can make any design private at any time from My Creations. Private creations are only accessible to you and cannot be printed or remixed by other users.
License You Grant Printora
By publishing a design, you grant Printora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and fulfill print orders for that design on our platform. This license ends when you make the design private or delete it. You retain full ownership of your designs.
Store Credit & Earnings
You earn 5% store credit on each print of your published design by other users. Store credits are:
- Automatically credited to your account after an order is fulfilled
- Redeemable against future Printora purchases only
- Non-transferable and have no cash value
- Subject to forfeiture if the associated order is refunded or cancelled
Auto-Publish Setting
Printora offers a "Make all designs public by default" setting in your dashboard. When enabled:
- All new designs you create will be automatically published to the community gallery
- You will earn 5% store credit on prints by other users
- You can disable this setting at any time and unpublish individual designs from your dashboard
- Designs created before enabling this setting are not affected
E-Cards
E-cards created on Printora are public by default and may appear in the community browse section, trending feeds, and promotional materials. By creating an e-card, you acknowledge:
- The card image, recipient name, sender name, and message are visible to anyone with the card link
- E-cards may appear in the trending/browse section for other users to discover
- Do not include sensitive personal information (phone numbers, addresses, financial details) in e-card messages
- Other users may "remix" your e-card (create a new card inspired by yours) with attribution
Referral Credits
Referral credits are awarded when a user you referred completes their first purchase using your referral link. Credits are subject to the same non-transferable, no-cash-value conditions as design earnings. Referral links must not be used in spam, paid advertising, or in any way that violates these Terms.
